8 Ways to Remove Crypto from Brave Browser (Mobile, PC)

Most of us know Brave browser for privacy features like blocking ads and trackers. But one feature that remains slightly under the radar is the Brave Rewards program which offers you crypto tokens for browsing the web. Following the same, the browser’s UI revolves around the crypto and Web3 elements. Unfortunately, this may disappoint people who prefer a clean, clutter-free, and Chrome-like experience on Brave. Therefore, here’s how to remove all crypto-related features in the Brave browser on Android, iOS, Mac, and Windows PC.

1. Disable Brave Private Ads

Brave rewards you for browsing the web by displaying ads with a set frequency chosen by the user. It helps you earn tokens by viewing ads shown based on your interests. If you’re not interested in the program, you can turn it off altogether.

Here’s how to disable the Brave Private Ads to declutter the browser:

Step 1: Type and enter brave://rewards in the search bar.

Step 1: Open Brave, tap the hamburger menu > Brave Rewards.

Step 2: Here, scroll down to find the Auto-Contribute section.
